The DR-DISK workshop as an independent project was created in 2017. In the summer of 2017, on the basis of a small metalworking workshop, the first set of composite brake discs was manufactured and a technology for fast brake disc recessing was developed. In the autumn of the same year, the company's specialists began accepting cars for servicing brake calipers, from that moment the formation of a database on the designs and methods of repairing brake systems (caliper \ disc \ pads) of cars of various classes began, a community was created on the VKontakte social network. At the beginning of 2018, a workshop website was created and the active phase of the company's activity began precisely as a service station.

At the end of summer 2018, a move was made to a room adapted for working with cars, and the first lathe was purchased. By mid-2019, the number of customers who visited the workshop reached 1,500 people, the first brake discs were manufactured to replace carbon-ceramic ones, an original management system was developed and implemented that allows transforming all business processes in the workshop to meet the current market requirements, an online recording system was also introduced and the first specialist was trained. - brake disc manufacturer.

At the beginning of 2020, the number of customers reached 2,000, a second site was created dedicated exclusively to the replacement of brake discs and pads, along with this, an agreement was concluded with a wholesale supplier of spare parts. In the spring of 2020, a second lathe was purchased, which made it possible to speed up the provision of basic services by 30%, a second manufacturing specialist was trained. By mid-2020, the number of workshop clients reached 3000, the community  VKontakte has grown to 3000 people, original technologies and machines for the manufacture of brake discs have been developed and implemented. The number of manufactured brake disc sets made from donors and third-party components, at that time, totaled more than 200 units.

By the end of 2020, the share of R&D expenditures reached 5% of profits, which made it possible to develop and start producing our own alloy for the manufacture of ultra-strong rotors and build several unique machine tools that opened up wide technological horizons in matters of fastening component parts of discs. Also, by the end of 2020, a milling machine was purchased, which made it possible to return the "slotting" operation to the service grid.

At the beginning of 2021, the first samples of brake discs of our own design were manufactured and tested, along with this, an active phase of the development of technological processes and methods begins to reduce the cost of our own products as much as possible, as well as their promotion on the market, an Instagram account was created for marketing support. In the spring of 2021, a proprietary thermal expansion compensation system was developed. By the middle of summer 2021, the number of brake disc sets manufactured and delivered to customers exceeded 50 units, of which 5 sets were rejected and defective. The localization of production of the company's products in mid-2021 is 95%, almost the entire production chain and all technological processes are located and occur on the territory of the Russian Federation.

By the end of November 2021, the development had been completed and the targets for the FIREBLADE ventilation system had been achieved, and various arrangements and designs of disc parts had been empirically investigated. The number of manufactured kits of our own design exceeded 80 pcs.
